Voyager Beach Resort Kenya
The Rooms
Voyager Beach Resort Kenya has good facilities. The rooms are of adequate size (neither too big or small). They have all the basics like air conditioning, fridge and TV.

You can get a sea view room, but a bit of a walk away from the main reception area. But don’t worry about it as there will be someone to help you carry your luggage back and forth. The other rooms have garden view and are also quite pleasant.
The Food
The food at Voyager Beach Resort Kenya is superb. There is always a great choice of food and all very fresh. Fresh fruit is also available at all mealtimes.
The main restaurant has a variety of meats, pastas, rice, salad, veggies and desserts and you can also try the Cove Restuarant seafood - 50% reduction for All Inclusive guests). Lots has been said about the lobster there!!
The Pools
Voyager Beach Resort Kenya has 3 pools. They are all well maintained and the perfect temperature to cool you down from the Kenyan heat! There are always sunbeds and towels available at each pool but if you want a bed in the shade/ sun/ at a specific pool you may have to get up fairly early to secure your spot.
The Children
Voyager Beach Resort Kenya has an ‘Animation Team’ who also run the Adventurers Club. This is a great team to leave your kids with while you can have some time to yourself.
Out at the beach
The beach has white sand and on a clear day, the water is crystal clear. There are times of the year when there is alot of sea weed.
The quality of the reef and marine life is excellent with turtle & shark being a regular sight.

Beach boys are simply out to make a living. Most can speak Swahili, English, Italian and Spanish. On most occasions, they just want to chat you up so that you can buy something that they are selling. If you don’t want to buy their products or services, just tell them so firmly and they will go.
On the other hand, chatting with them will but only expand your knowledge of the local area and open you up to a new world.
One tip tough, if you will be buying something, make sure you bargain.
If they say the cost of a boat ride or product is $50, tell them you only have $20. Keep using words like, ‘it costs so much to come all the way to Kenya, so I have not got much to spare’, i have a family to take care of so every coin counts’.
They will be telling you the same kind of thing and it take a while going back and forth like that but trust me.............it reduces the cost drastically!!
Other goodies
You can have a massage done for a cost of £12.50 for a 45 minute full body massage. The best part is that it’s done whilst looking over the Indian ocean.
