South Beach Hotels KenyaSouth Beach Hotels Kenya are very nice and there are plenty. Right from Mombasa, the main coastal island, you will drive up to many beach strips (all with lovely beach hotels) up until Shimoni. (Shimoni - which means 'in the caves'- is a beach strip that is famed for the shimoni caves where slaves were said to be stored before being shipped to Zanzibar. I have not been there in a long time, but it did seem enchanting when I went there 20 years ago. You know how when you are a child, all seems magical and exciting! I would like to hear from you if you go there. 
The main beach strips are Likoni, Shelly Beach, Diani Beach, Msambweni and Shimoni Beaches. Diani seems to be the most popular destination in South Coast, but I guess it all subject to personal opinion. I have listed these strips in order from Mombasa to Shimoni. All these beach strips have very good South Beach Hotels but some are very good, like the ones on Diani Beach - Indian Ocean Beach Club, Baobab Beach Resort and Jadini Beach Hotel.
