Kenya Travel Beach Safari - How Not To Get Lost!

My sister, Wams, has done a beach safari in Kenya and twice she ended up in the opposite place.

We went to the Coast together this summer and whereas we thought we were going to South Coast, it turned out that the hotel was in the North Coast!

Essentially, the Kenyan coast has the main island – Mombasa – which is also the second largest city in Kenya. When you get to Mombasa, you can either choose to stay there or you can go to the South or the North Coast.

You need the ferry to go to South Coast. Both the south and the north have good beach hotels to be honest, but people tend to say that the south has better beaches.

It all boils down to the activities that you want to do, but both places should be explored for a full feel of the beaches in Kenya
