Jobs In Kenya
Jobs In Kenya. Im sure that you have been to a couple of websites looking for jobs and have made a couple of applications.
We all know that jobs in Kenya are hard to find, whether its legal, IT, administrative, government or even NGO jobs. I remember when I got my job in Kenya as an inhouse-lawyer at Kenya Hotels. I was more than elated but there was still that lingering thought...what next?

Let's Assume You Have Your Job - What's Next?
First there is that feeling of relief. You can finally afford to pay rent where you want to live, chill out with friends at Java and not feel the pinch, enter into one of those Old Mutual Saving Plans and much more.
But even if I did all these things I am talking about, there was always that nagging feeling that I needed out of the rat race.
Why Build Someone Else's Company When You Could Be Building Your Own?
It's that simple! Why spend all your waking energy building another man's house yet you have no house of your own? Why? That is the question that I asked myself and it prompted me to start my own business.
I was 29 when I got my first job and my mum was 60 when she retired. Upon retiring, she needed to figure out what to do with her time as well as generate further income.
This made me question the same things. Why not start with the end with mind? Build a business first.
Build Your Business
Jobs in Kenya are hard to find, but some say a business is harder to build. Which ever the case, you need a business as it will grow with you. What about capital? People say that to build a business, you need capital and lots of it.
But I refute that. You only need 'Courage' and 'Creativity'. Those two go hand in hand.
There are lots of business that you can go into and I advocate for internet based business. You can start an internet business as you continue applying for a job or even working. An internet business like what I have is cheap to run.
No City Council to bother you, no ridiculous overhead costs like rent, water, electricity bills etc. You just need internet connection which you can have with a safaricom moderm or at the cyber cafe.
By the way, I did not even have a computer when I started. My business bought the laptop for me. Mambo ni pole pole!
This Is Not A Get Rich Quick Scam
Think of something that you are passionate about and create a website about it and start trading. Websites are expensive but I can help you with that - actually only Ksh4900.
We shall start by brainstorming and I will show you how I did mine and you can do the same for yourself. This is not a scam. I am aware that there are all these online survey jobs and stuff where you end up loosing money - but this is not like that.
This is about you wanting to start something and me showing you how I do it and how you can as well.
