About MeMy name is Maggie Nguyo, born and bred in Kenya. I am a lawyer by profession. I studied Law at Warwick University, did my Masters in Banking and Finance Law at the London School of Economics and a Development Studies Masters at the University of Sunderland. After studying Law in England, I went back to Kenya to do the Bar so that I could start earning cash. Real hard cash! The exams were tough but I made it. I, together with many others got crowned by the Chief Justice and became ‘Advocates of the High Court of Kenya’. 
I later got a job as an in-house lawyer for Kenya Hotels. I enjoyed working there and the pay was good too but I always wanted to do something more. I have always enjoyed concept creation and developing ideas into something tangible.
In the past, I had developed many concepts. Some worked and some were outright flops. But all taught me a thing or two about myself, people and life. I never gave up in trying....well that was something else I discovered about myself – I’m quite a determined person. I decided to go into online business for the simple fact that it was quite flexible and less demanding. At the time, I had a lovely cousin who showed me the ropes and I was quite happy to learn from him. The website you see now, is a result of my the different business I tried in Kenya, my love for Kenya and passion for travel. Going into this business is amongst the best things that I have done for myself. It has opened me up to a new way of doing things. It has given me the space I needed to develop ideas and bring them into fruition, it has given me the place where I can say - I am in pursuit of my full potential! With that, I would like to encourage you to do that which you burn with passion for. If business is your thing, then go for it will total zeal and knowledge.
